Histoire de l'orphelinat
The Grace Tait Shelter was created in July 2006 by a retired american teacher: Ms Grace Tait Virginia. She had a passion for children since she was a kid herself (8 years old), and realised that passion at the age of 80, in Cameroon. In 2011 she fell ill and finally joined The Lord. Pastor Numfor Julius took charge of the shelter then with his wife. Originally in Bali, the shelter had to relocate itself temporarily in Nkwen, Bamenda because of the insecurity.
The shelter had a capacity of 50 children then, but with Ms. Virginia's death and the relocation of the shelter, it was more and more difficult for the pastor and his wife to ensure the children's welfare. They had to start back at 12 children, and with the Lord's work, they are at 28 children so far, all coming from different parts of the country.

L'orphelinat et ONOH
We received a message in August 2022, from a friend in Bamenda who relayed the urgency of the orphanage in relation to the start of the school year. We later contacted Pastor Julius to be able to help.
